Eucerin’s DermoPurifyer Adjunctive Soothing Cream is developed for blemish- and acne-prone skin undergoing medical acne therapy, which often leaves skin dry, tight, stinging or flaking. Its intensely hydrating, non-greasy formula relieves that discomfort while helping you stay consistent with your treatment.

The cream combines Ceramides to rebuild and reinforce the skin’s protective barrier, SymSitive to calm stinging and burning at the source, and soothing Licochalcone A to reduce redness and irritation. Skin feels smooth and supple from the first application, and the light, fast-absorbing texture also makes an excellent base for make-up.

Suitable Skin Types

Blemish-prone · Acne-prone · Dry · Sensitive, reactive skin. Especially suited to skin irritated or dried out by acne medication (e.g. retinoids, benzoyl peroxide). Fragrance-free. If your skin stops feeling dry, this rich cream may feel too heavy — a lighter fluid would suit better.

How to Use

1. Use daily, in the morning and/or evening — as often as your skin needs.
2. Apply a chickpea-sized amount to a thoroughly cleansed face.
3. Massage in gently and avoid contact with the eyes.
4. Layer it over (or alongside) your prescribed acne treatment to soothe and hydrate.
5. In the morning, always follow with a separate broad-spectrum sunscreen, such as a Eucerin Oil Control SPF 30 or 50+ — this is important to help prevent pigmentation in blemish-prone skin.

This cream contains no SPF, so daily sun protection on top is essential, particularly while your skin is sensitised by acne treatment. It is suitable for use during pregnancy, and can be continued on an ongoing basis even after you finish medical treatment if your skin stays dry.
