Overview
A high-strength anti-aging booster built around 0.1% Retinal (a more advanced, faster-converting form of Vitamin A than standard retinol), paired with 3% MATRIXYL® 3000, a well-known peptide duo that supports collagen production. The Retinal is nano-sized and stabilised with liposome technology to improve absorption while helping to manage irritation, and the brand’s A-Shotâ„¢ micro-particles are designed to penetrate directly into the appearance of pores.
Just a drop or two is meant to go a long way, targeting fine lines, uneven texture, and enlarged pores in one concentrated step. Panthenol rounds out the formula with hydration to help balance the potency of the actives, leaving a bouncy, nourished finish rather than a dry or tight feeling after application.
Suitable Skin Types
Normal · Dry · Oily · Combination — aimed at early-to-visible signs of aging, uneven texture, and enlarged pores. Best suited to those already comfortable with retinoids, or new users willing to start slowly and patch test first.
Key Features & Benefits
- 1% Retinal converts to retinoic acid faster than standard retinol, supporting visibly smoother texture and reduced fine lines.
- 3% MATRIXYL® 3000 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7) is a well-studied peptide complex that supports the look of firmer, more elastic skin.
- A-Shotâ„¢ micro-particle technology, described as up to 16 times finer than pores, is designed to help actives penetrate and visibly refine enlarged pores.
- Liposome-stabilised, nano-sized Retinal aims to improve tolerability compared to non-encapsulated forms.
- Panthenol provides hydration to help offset dryness typically associated with retinoid use.
- Highly concentrated formula meant to be used sparingly, with just a small amount covering targeted areas.
- Reported by users to leave skin feeling smoother and firmer with consistent nightly use.
How to Use
- Use in the evening only, after cleansing and toning, on completely dry skin.
- Apply a small amount to targeted areas of concern, such as fine lines or enlarged pores.
- If new to retinoids, apply every other night for the first two weeks before increasing frequency.
- Pat in gently rather than rubbing, to help even absorption.
If irritation occurs, reduce frequency and amount, and follow with a soothing moisturiser. Always follow with a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher the next morning. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and best not layered with additional retinoids, Vitamin C, AHAs, or BHAs in the same routine.
